Since the annual meeting of the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery in Brest (CAOS2022), the best clinical and technical contributions will be recognized with the ISTELAR Emerging Researchers Awards sponsored by the ISTELAR Foundation with the administrative support of CAOS France.

The ISTELAR best technical and clinical podium presentation and poster awards will be awarded to contributions in which the first author and the presenter is a PhD student with up to five years of postdoctoral experience. If contributions are of equal quality, preference will be given to female authors.

Maurice E. Müller Award

The Maurice E. Müller Award for Excellence in Computer Assisted Surgery is presented at the Annual CAOS-International Meetings. It honors individuals whose career achievements have fundamentally effected in the field of Computer Assisted Surgery. A board of referees selects individuals based on their sustained contributions to excellence in Computer Assisted Surgery. From 1999-2012, the award has been sponsored by the M.E. Müller Foundation. Since 2013, the M.E.Müller Award endowed with CHF 5'000.00 and sponsored by Medacta International S.A.
